We’re delighted to announce that an online notation service Flat have released an integration with Soundtrap. This will make it even easier for all our users to work on music projects online.
Flat is where you write your music scores online, and Soundtrap is where you record and co-create music together with friends. So we believe it is a perfect match and hope you’ll be able to use both services to create and share beautiful music.
What is Flat?
Flat is a user-friendly music composition service that allows you to easily create, edit and share music scores in your web browser without having to download or install anything. It works entirely in the web-browser, just like Soundtrap.
How do I get started?
1) If you don’t have Flat account, head over to flat.io to create one. Takes less than a minute.
2) Create a new music score or tablature.
3) Once you’re happy with your music score, click Export to Soundtrap in the Export menu (top right corner).
4) Your track will be opened in the Soundtrap studio and you can continue editing there like you would normally do.
To learn more about Flat and music notation, head over to Flat’s Blog where they share basic music theory lessons and tips on how to write your music scores online.
Thanks to this integration Flat users will be introduced to Soundtrap, where they can develop their projects further.
We hope collaborations like this will encourage musicians to turn their ideas into reality and to be more productive in their creative efforts.
If you’re not yet a user of Soundtrap, go ahead and sign up here to join over a million of music producers that use Soundtrap.
